School Block Semillon
Portion 202, Parish of Pokolbin, in 1887 was the site of the first Pokolbin School. In 1974, we selected this site for our first Semillon vines. Since then the grapes have produced a very crisp, fresh young wine of lemon and lime characters, for which the Hunter Valley is famous.

- Fresh lemon and lime zest.
- Palate
- Lemon, lime and honey dew melon, enchanced by an intriguing minerality.
- Cellar
- Cellaring will result in complex vanillin, toast and lime marmalade characters. Keep for up to 20 years.
Lucerne Paddock Verdelho
The 'Lucerne Paddock' produced luscious fields of Lucerne for sixty years before the Verdelho was planted in 1988. This farming practise transformed the ground leaving dynamic topsoil full or organic material, ideal for growing Verdelho.

- Lifted tropical fruits of lychee, pineapple and passionfruit.
- Palate
- The tropical fruit characters flow across the palate with a fresh acidity and a dry, well balanced finish.
- Cellar
- Best enjoyed straight away from time of bottling, up to 3 years in cellar.
Poppy's Chardonnay
The Poppy's Vineyard consistently produces a wine reflecting true Hunter Valley terroir. The deep, sandy-loam soil and traditional viticultural techniques used, ensures the highest quality is maintained.

- Lifted green melon and yellow peach, with flinty barrel fermentation aromas.
- Palate
- Mineral acid with intense melon, lychee and stone fruit flavours. Vanillan oak lends complexity to the palate.
- Cellar
- Enjoy now or cellar for up to 15 years.
PMR Merlot
Pokolbin Mountains Road is located at the junction of the Brokenback Mountain and Mt Bright. This is the home of our vineyards. Distinctive soil types and a unique microclimate give an ideal environment for fruit development. This phenomena, combined with careful vineyard management has allowed us to produce a superb Merlot.

- Supple red berries with subtle oak and soft juicy tannins.

U & I Shiraz
Brothers, Usher and Ian, formed a partnership named U & I Tinkler to continue on with our family's viticultural history. To recognise this successful venture, the wine U & I has been produced. It is made from premium, hand picked fruit from the original shiraz plantings at the foothills of the Pokolbin Mountains. Traditional techniques are used at our winery to capture the true nature of Pokolbin terroir.

- Black cherry and plum witha hint of white pepper and vanillan oak.
- Palate
- Concentrated dark fruits and dark chocolate with velvety french oak tannins.

Volcanic Ash
The foothills of Mt Bright in Pokolbin consist of rich volcanic soil, where our family grows highly aromatic Muscat and Traminer grapes. The fruit is carefully selected at a perfect ripeness to make up this luscious blend.

Usher Gordon Muscat
The first Usher Tinkler arrived in Australia in 1841 and since then the name Usher has been given to the first male born in each generation. Fourth generation, Usher Gordon Tinkler planted the original Muscat vines at the foothills of the Pokolbin Mountains. To commemorate this planting, a fortified wine is made in only those years when these grapes reach a desired maturity level.

- A luscious maturing style exhibiting dried fruit and fig characters with a hint of sweet pecan and walnuts.
